كمراقب لدي الإتحاد الأفريقي

لأول مرة منذ عام 2002 ، قدم سفير إسرائيل في إثيوبيا ، ألين أدماسو ، أوراق اعتماده كمراقب لدى الاتحاد الأفريقي يوم الخميس ، 22 يوليو.

الاتحاد الأفريقي هو أكبر وأهم منظمة في القارة الأفريقية وأعضاؤه هم 55 دولة في أفريقيا.

وزير الخارجية يائير لبيد: “هذا يوم احتفال بالعلاقات الإسرائيلية الإفريقية. هذا الإنجاز الدبلوماسي هو نتيجة عمل متواصل من قبل وزارة الخارجية وقسمتها الإفريقية والسفارات الإسرائيلية في القارة”.

بعد التأسيس الرسمي لصفة المراقب لإسرائيل لدى الاتحاد الأفريقي ، ستكون الأطراف قادرة على التعاون ، من بين أمور أخرى ، في مكافحة كورونا ومنع انتشار الإرهاب المتطرف في جميع أنحاء القارة.Accreditation of the Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia

For the first time since 2002, Israel’s ambassador to Ethiopia, Aline Admaso, presented his credentials as an observer to the African Union on Thursday, July 22.

The African Union is the largest and most important organization on the African continent and its members are 55 countries in Africa.

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid: “This is a day to celebrate Israeli-African relations. This diplomatic achievement is the result of continuous work by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its African division and the Israeli embassies on the continent.”

  After the formal establishment of Israel’s observer status with the African Union, the parties will be able to cooperate, among other things, in combating Corona and preventing the spread of extremist terrorism throughout the continent.
