يركز اليوم العالمي للاجئين 2021 على قوة الشمول والعمل معا.
وأظهرت لنا تجربة كوفيد-19 أننا لا يمكن ان نخطو نحو النجاح إلا إذا وقفنا جميعا ومعًا. وعلينا جميعًا أن نقوم بدورنا في الحفاظ على سلامة بعضنا البعض؛ وعلى الرغم من التحديات، فقد برز اللاجئون والمشردون في طليعة العاملين ضد انتشار الوباء ولمساعدة الآخرين.
فإذا أتيحت الفرصة، سيستمر اللاجئون في المساهمة في بناء عالم أقوى وأكثر أمانًا وحيوية. لذلك، تدعو المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، من خلال حملة اليوم العالمي للاجئين لهذا العام، إلى زيادة إدماج اللاجئين في النظم الصحية والأكاديمية والرياضية. وفقط من خلال العمل معًا يمكننا التعافي من الوباء.
معًا نخطوا نحو التعافي ونحو التعليم ونحو التألق.

هناك تصنيفات عديدة للمستضعفين في أصقاع العالم، ممن يشردون قسرا، إلا أن خيطا واحدا يجمعهم كلهم: ففي كل دقيقة، يفر عشريون فردا من الحروب والاظطها والإرهاب مخلفين ورائهم كل شيء. ولكم أن تتخيلو .. ماذا لو هدد نزاع أسركم، ما أنتم فاعلون؟ هل تعرضون أحبتكم للخطر؟ أم تحاولون الهرب بهم، مخاطرين بتعريضهم للخطف والاغتصاب والتعذيب؟ بالنسبة لكثيرين، الخيارات المتاحة أمامهم قليلة.. وأحيانا لا يجدون إلا اختيار بين الخيار السيئ والخيار الذي هو أسوأ منه.

World Refugee Day 2021 focuses on the power of inclusion and working together.
The experience of COVID-19 has shown us that we can only step into success if we all stand together. We must all do our part in keeping each other safe; Despite the challenges, refugees and displaced persons have been at the forefront of working against the spread of the epidemic and helping others.
Given the opportunity, refugees will continue to contribute to building a stronger, safer and more vibrant world. Therefore, through this year’s World Refugee Day campaign, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is calling for greater inclusion of refugees in the health, academic and sports systems. And only by working together can we recover from the pandemic.
Together, we march toward recovery, toward education, and toward brilliance.
Background Information
There are many classifications of vulnerable people around the world who are forcibly displaced, but one thread unites them all: every minute, twenty people flee from wars, oppression and terrorism, leaving everything behind. And you can imagine.. what if a conflict threatens your families, what will you do? Are you putting your loved ones at risk? Or are you trying to escape with them, risking kidnapping, rape and torture? For many, the options available to them are few…and sometimes they find only a choice between the bad option and the option that is worse than it.
