عقب مقتل فلسطينيين اثنين وإسرائيلي، أعرب منسق الأمم المتحدة الخاص لعملية السلام في الشرق الأوسط في بيان عن “قلق عميق” إزاء تصاعد التوترات والعنف في الضفة الغربية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، منذ بداية شهر رمضان المبارك.
وفي البيان الذي صدر اليوم الخميس، قال المنسق الخاص، تور وينسلاند، إنه في الأيام القليلة الماضية وحدها، قُتل فلسطينيان، سيّدة وطفل، في حادثين منفصلين، على يد القوات الإسرائيلية، في سياق اشتباكات أو اعتداءات. وقُتل إسرائيلي برصاصٍ فلسطيني في إطلاق نار من سيارة مارة وأصيب عدد آخر بجراح.
ودعا وينسلاند القوات الإسرائيلية لممارسة أقصى درجات ضبط النفس واستخدام القوة المميتة فقط في الحالات التي لا يمكن تجنبها من أجل حماية الأرواح. كما دعا إلى محاسبة مرتكبي أعمال العنف من جميع الأطراف وتقديمهم بسرعة إلى العدالة.
طرد العائلات الفلسطينية في القدس الشرقية
وأشار المسؤول الأممي إلى أن التطورات الأخيرة التي تتعلق بطرد عائلات لاجئي فلسطين في الشيخ جراح وأحياء أخرى في القدس الشرقية المحتلة “مقلقة للغاية”.
وبحسب وسائل الإعلام، تلقت عدة أسر فلسطينية قرارات بالإخلاء، صدرت عن محكمتي الصلح والمركزية في إسرائيل. وقدمت أربع أسر منها التماسات للمحكمة العليا، التي تُعتبر أعلى هيئة قضائية في إسرائيل، ضد قرارات طردها من منازلها.
وقال وينسلاند: “أحث إسرائيل على وقف عمليات الهدم والإخلاء، بما يتماشى مع التزاماتها بموجب القانون الإنساني الدولي”.
ودعا القادة السياسيين والدينيين وقادة المجتمع من جميع الأطراف للوقوف بحزم ضد العنف والتحريض والخطاب الاستفزازي. وقال: “إذا لم يتم التعامل مع الوضع، فقد يخرج عن السيطرة

Following the killing of two Palestinians and an Israeli, the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process expressed, in a statement, “deep concern” about the escalation of tensions and violence in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
In the statement issued today, Thursday, the Special Coordinator, Tor Winsland, said that in the past few days alone, two Palestinians, a woman and a child, were killed in two separate incidents by Israeli forces, in the context of clashes or attacks. An Israeli was killed by Palestinian bullets in a drive-by shooting, and several others were wounded.
Winsland called on the Israeli forces to exercise the utmost restraint and only use lethal force in unavoidable cases in order to protect lives. He also called for the perpetrators of violence on all sides to be held accountable and promptly brought to justice.
The expulsion of Palestinian families in East Jerusalem
The UN official indicated that recent developments related to the expulsion of Palestine refugee families in Sheikh Jarrah and other neighborhoods in occupied East Jerusalem are “extremely worrying”.
According to the media, several Palestinian families received eviction decisions issued by the Magistrate and Central Courts in Israel. Four of them have petitioned the Supreme Court, the highest judicial body in Israel, against decisions to expel them from their homes.
“I urge Israel to halt the demolitions and evictions, in line with its obligations under international humanitarian law,” Winsland said.
He called on political, religious and community leaders from all sides to stand firm against violence, incitement and provocative speech. He said, “If the situation is not dealt with, it may spiral out of control
