أعلنت اليوم الجمعة، السلطات الإيطالية إيقاف استخدام لقاح “أسترازينيكا” المضاد لفيروس كورونا، عقب وفاة شابة بتجلط دموي بعد التطعيم، ليقتصر على الأفراد فوق سن 60 عامًا، حيث توفيت كاميلا كانيبا البالغة من العمر 18 عاما أمس الخميس بعد حصولها على اللقاح يوم 25 مايو الماضي
وقد قال فرانشيسكو فيجليولو، المفوض الإيطالي الخاص بفيروس كورونا في مؤتمر صحفي: “سيمنح أسترازينيكا فقط للأفراد فوق سن الستين”.
كما طالب خبراء باقتصار إعطاء لقاح أسترازينيكا على الأشخاص الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 60 عامًا، فيما رأى آخرون أن من الممكن تلقي الشباب الجرعة التعزيزية من نفس لقاح أسترازينيكا لأنه لم يتم توثيق حالات تجلط بعد تناول الجرعة الثانية من اللقاح.Disaster in Italy, a young woman dies of a blood clot

“AstraZeneca will only be given to individuals over the age of 60,” Francesco Figliolo, Italy’s commissioner for coronavirus, said at a press conference.
Experts also called for limiting the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine to people over the age of 60, while others believed that it is possible for young people to receive the booster dose of the same AstraZeneca vaccine because no clotting has been documented after taking the second dose of the vaccine.
