وفي حديثه من مدينة غزة إلى المؤتمر الصحفي في قصر الأمم بالمدينة السويسرية، قال ماتياس شمالي، مدير عمليات الأونروا في غزة: “بالطبع، يجب أن أبدأ بالتعبير عن شعور كبير بالارتياح لأن 11 يوما من المجازر والحرب قد انتهت، وبالتعبير عن الأمل في أن (الوضع) سيبقى على هذا النحو. يبدو الأمر وكأنه وقف إطلاق نار هش”.
