عضو الكنيست غيداء ريناوي زعبي أول مواطنة عربية تتولي منصب نائبة رئيس البربمان الإسرائيلي. في خطابها الأول قالت: “بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. الآية الأولى التي وردت في القرآن الكريم هي: اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ، خَلَقَ الإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ، اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الأَكْرَمُ، الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ، عَلَّمَ الإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ. صدق الله العظيم. والخالق يأمرنا ان نقرأ باسمه. أنا غيداء ابنة أحمد ونجاة. أنا زوجة كمال وأم لعدن وفارس. أنا أقف هنا متساوية بين متساوين.. كامرأة عربية أريد أن آخذ جزءا من مهام بناء صورة الدولة والتركيز على الشراكة الحقيقية والمواطنة المتساوية”.​
ولدت غيداء في مدينة الناصرة، أكبر مدينة عربية في إسرائيل، وتم اختيارها من المئة شخصية المؤثرة في البلاد. حصلت على ماجستير في الاستشارة التنظيمية من جامعة حيفا، وماجستير في إدارة الأعمال من كلية الإدارة ولقب اول في علم النفس والادب العبري من الجامعة العبرية في القدس.

MK Ghida Rinawi Zoabi is the first Arab woman to hold the position of Deputy Speaker of the Israeli Parliament. In the first speech, he said: “In the name of God the Merciful. Ghaida was born in Nazareth, the largest Arab city in Israel, and was chosen as one of the 100 most influential people in the country. She received an MA in Organizational Counseling from the University of Haifa, an MBA from the College of Management and a BA in Psychology and Hebrew Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
